Orbit Cosmos, a local software and game development studio, is set to revolutionize Pakistan’s gaming industry with the launch of Pikamoon, the country’s first Play-to-Earn (P2E) crypto game. The game offers players the opportunity to earn real money by playing, a concept that has gained immense popularity worldwide.

Pikamoon, set in the expansive open world of Dreva, features a diverse range of gameplay modes, including auto battlers, turn-based combat, and battle arenas. Players can earn the game’s native cryptocurrency, PIKA, through their in-game activities, which can then be exchanged for real-world currency.

Orbit Cosmos, founded by a team of over 80 tech experts, aims to position Pakistan as a global gaming hub. The studio’s focus on developing P2E games aligns with the country’s growing interest in the crypto and blockchain industry.

While the full game is set for release in 2025, players can already start earning PIKA tokens through Pikamoon’s mini arcade games. These games offer a glimpse into the P2E model and allow players to compete for monthly and yearly prize pools.

With Pikamoon, Orbit Cosmos is leading the charge in Pakistan’s gaming industry, demonstrating the potential for the country to become a major player in the global P2E market.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
