Pakistan Post Initiates Electronic Money Order Service

Pakistan Post has recently launched an Electronic Money Order Service (EMO) for domestic money transfer. This service by the post will allow customers to quickly transfer money within the country. The electronic service is an improved version of the conventional money order service that to take days when it came to delivery.

However, this new revamped service from Pakistan Post is said to be as quick as any other mobile banking solutions, such as EasyPaisa or UBL Omni. Through the new service, customers will be able to transfer money up to Rs 100,000 at very nominal charges ranging from Rs 50 to Rs 600. The service is available in all 83 GPOs throughout Pakistan and soon they will be expanded to more cities of Pakistan.

The charges on the money order range from Rs 50 to Rs 600 depending on the amount.
