The Ministry of IT and Telecommunication (MoITT), in collaboration with the World Bank Group, organized a two-day workshop on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in Bhurban on November 11-12, 2024.

A highlight of the workshop was the introduction of the Digital Economy Empowerment Project (DEEP), a flagship initiative funded by the World Bank Group. Executed by NADRA, the Board of Investment (BoI), the National Information Technology Board (NITB), and Ignite, DEEP aims to enhance digital services for citizens and businesses under the strategic guidance of MoITT.

The event brought together key stakeholders to discuss critical components of DPI, including Digital ID, Data Exchange, and Payment systems, with a focus on creating citizen-centric solutions to advance Pakistan’s digital transformation.
