NUST Honors Top Faculty with BRAIN Awards for Research and Innovation

NUST celebrated the achievements of its faculty by conferring the Best Researcher and Innovator (BRAIN) Awards on Wednesday. Over 100 faculty members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to research and innovation during the academic year 2022-23.

Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, attended the ceremony as chief guest and commended the awardees for their invaluable contributions to the nation. He emphasized the importance of research and innovation in driving societal progress.

NUST Rector Lt. Gen. (Retd) Engr Javed Mahmood Bukhari highlighted the role of the faculty in fostering a culture of academic excellence and innovation at the university. He expressed confidence that the awardees’ work will contribute significantly to national development.

The BRAIN Awards recognize faculty members who have excelled in securing research funding, publishing high-impact papers, and developing innovative solutions.
