National Incubation Center Islamabad Hosts Startup Master Class By Facebook

The National Incubation Center, Islamabad hosted Facebook Startup Masterclass this past weekend. The program was designed for qualifying startups to help them leverage the Facebook platform from both a marketing and developer perspective.

The session was an opportunity for the local startup community to connect with Facebook experts and engineers. The event featured focused workshops on Facebook developer tools and APIs, advertising and measurement solutions as well as Bots for Messenger. Startups were able to register participants in both business and developer tracks where each audience learned about best practices, case studies and opportunities to build, grow and sustain their business from origin to scale. Participants also learned about how to leverage Facebook’s support tools as well programs for startups such as FbStart.

After sessions in Karachi and Lahore, the startup master class session in Islamabad had over seventy participants, bringing together the Facebook team and some of the leading startups from the tech community.

Ershian Anwar, CEO, Anzen, a startup incubated at the National Incubation Center, said:

“The FB startup master class session was definitely a great learning experience for us. Connecting with the Facebook team was an edge as we learned more about Facebook products and platforms.”

Facebook Startup Masterclass is a program to enable startups on leveraging the Facebook platform to meet their marketing and technology needs through targeted sessions for marketers, developers and product owners.
