NED Presents 11th Edition of the IT Exhibition and Competition

NED University has over the years, managed to keep its repute of producing the finest computer science graduates. Known for showcasing their talents in numerous competitions across the country, their Computer Science and Software Engineering department are known for hosting numerous events at NED. As we approach the middle of summer break, the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering plan to host their annual flagship event- Information Technology Exhibition & Competition.

The NEDUET-ACM Student Chapter & CSIT Department present the 11th rendition of the Information Technology Exhibition and Competition, commonly abbreviated as ITEC. The event will take place from the 18th of July 2018 till the 20th of July 2018. The department aims to make this the biggest edition of the event yet as they plan to elevate the established sub-events to new standards. With a decade worth of experience.

The competition is divided into main components: Technical and Non-Technical Competitions. These two components are further divided into their respective domains each. The Technical Completions include Code Brawl, Gaming and Project Exhibition while the Non-Technical domain consists of Techera and Logic Quiz. The teams will be allowed to register for the Project Exhibition for free as well, whereas the registration fee for each of the competitions is given on the website.

As the tagline for this event is “Reshaping Paradigms”, it serves as a sign for the event to be embarking on a new approach as to the structure of the event and their respective modules. The event is powered by local technology company 10Pearls. Each day of the event will be 12 hours long starting from 9am-9pm.
