In conjunction with GSMA and CreditPer, a leading digital lending platform that enables simple access to digital credit to underserved and unserved market groups, Knowledge Platform, a prominent ed-tech company in Pakistan, has introduced Pakistan’s first educational gadget.
Launching such a gadget and allowing simple access to it via CreditPer is a game changer that will hopefully remove Pakistan’s digital gap in schooling. This gizmo has everything a pupil might possibly need to learn. Knowledge Platform recommends that users buy the gadget of their choosing on credit through CreditPer, which offers quick financing choices.

Our goal with this device is to bring education to every household in Pakistan at an affordable price.

The device is pre-loaded with Knowledge Platform learning solutions, a library of material including movies, games, and exams, as well as mobile data.
Only 1 million of Pakistan’s 49 million school-aged children (grades 1–12) have access to specialised instructional smart gadgets. This indicates that when it comes to education and learning chances, 98 percent of children are negatively impacted and disadvantaged.
With Pakistan’s first-ever educational gadget, Knowledge Platform, a pioneer in ed-tech, has stepped up to bridge the digital divide in education. Learn Smart Pakistan’s cutting-edge learning solutions, which include curriculum-aligned digital content for K-12 pupils, are included with the tablet. Parhai Buddy (Pakistan’s first AI-powered learning coach), Exam Prep Master (Learn Smart Pakistan), 1-on-1 contests, and teacher-led instruction are all preloaded.

CreditPer is giving convenient payment options to accommodate specific individual demands in order to encourage mobile uptake. We’ve also worked with Jazz Telecom to create an Edu-data sim that includes a subsidised internet package for PKR. 150 per month, in order to encourage internet uptake in the region.
The initiative has been acknowledged by the GSMA as a top mobile innovation for emerging markets and is deemed an excellent contribution to the UN SDGs, and has been shortlisted for the Global Mobile Awards.

Mahboob Mahmood CEO, Knowledge Platform said“

“We are honoured to be the change makers in the-tech industry. Affordable devices and internet access are key barriers to online education. With the launch of this educational tablet, we have moved a step closer to our goal of bridging the digital divide. Through this deal with CreditPer, the device is available on instalments to people with low-income streams, providing them access to personalised learning, digital content, games, assessments, and data. Over the years, the way education is practised has evolved rapidly and it is good to see tech companies joining hands to transform education.”

“CreditPer is on a mission to bring affordable and accessible credit for every Pakistani to improve their lives, and this partnership with Knowledge Platform as Pakistan’s leading education technology organisation, helps us in the pursuit and fulfilment of this mission. Parents will be able to order the Knowledge Platform education device, access Learn Smart Pakistan’s learning solutions & Parhai Buddy (Pakistan’s first AI-based learning coach), and Jazz mobile connectivity, all from the comfort of their homes and places of work. Additionally, they will also be enjoying swift loan approvals and product delivery from via CreditPer, thus being empowered to better equip their children for online learning. At CreditPer, we are honoured and thrilled to be a part of this initiative to help eliminate the challenges (of device affordability) faced by a majority of Pakistani students.”
