JumpStart Pakistan is all set to host their flagship event Change Pakistan Conference on the 25th of March 2017 at Nishtar Hall in the vibrant city of Peshawar.

Change Pakistan Conference is an initiative by JumpStart Pakistan designed to create awareness about why we argue with the idea of replicating the Silicon Valley Model in Pakistan and believe in organically growing startups under Margalla Hills Model.

The conference is to host investors, mentors, renowned speakers, dignitaries, and philanthropists from all over the industry. Over a 1,000 delegates are expected to show up, with more than 30 startups that are to be showcased at the Expo.

It is bound to be an exciting event with about 10 startups pitching and experts sitting in a panel to share their expertise with the budding entrepreneur of the country.

2017 is the fourth year and the third season for Shepherd’s Pie with the first year being the foundation season. In its Season I, it was conducted in 3 cities of Pakistan. In season II, the number of cities was increased to 5 and now in its Season III, the number of cities that will Insha Allah be covered, has been increased to 10. The cities to be covered in Season III 2017 include Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Abbottabad, Quetta, Sargodha, Sialkot and Rawalpindi.

CWPK Legacy
Launched in 1967 internationally, ComputerWorld is the oldest tech magazine/media property in the world. In Pakistan, ComputerWorld was launched in 1995. Initially providing news to IT executives only, once CIO Pakistan, its sister brand from the same family, was launched and took over the enterprise reporting domain in Pakistan, CWPK has emerged as a holistic technology media platform reporting everything tech in the country. It remains the oldest continuous IT publishing brand in the country and in 2025 is set to turn 30 years old, which will be its biggest benchmark and a legacy it hopes to continue for years to come. CWPK is part of the SPIN/IDG Wakhan media umbrella.
