In a recent development, JazzCash team announced the launch of ‘Hosted Checkout’. The service is a secure, customizable & seamless payment experience right on your website’s checkout page.

Through Hosted Checkout, customers shopping online can enjoy an array of online payment solutions (Credit/Debit Card, Mobile Account & Voucher Payment) offered by JazzCash.

Merchants/Online businesses using the JazzCash Payment Solution get the added benefit of customizing their checkout page with their own logos and brand colors. This solution will give online shoppers a seamless and secure user payment experience from first to last click, reducing e-commerce website’s drop rate right at the checkout page.

This added feature in the JazzCash Payment Gateway also limits the risk which comes with storing confidential buyer information. With Hosted Checkout, buyers’ card details are directly sent to secure MasterCard Payment Servers, eradicating a number of Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) reservations regarding storage of information.

In legacy payment gateways, customers are redirected to their checkout page which adds an extra hop, impacting customer journey resulting in increased drop rate at checkout page. Moreover, slow internet connections can terminate customers’ session further increasing drop rate.

Enabling E-commerce

JazzCash will be responsible for all payments on behalf of the dealer. Therefore, all worries regarding annual validation checks, card scheme penalties or fines are eradicated. The solution gives merchants access to their customer’s journey, providing customized interface aligned with their website.

Aniqa Afzal Sandhu, Chief Digital Officer – Jazz said:

“Hosted Checkout is an amazing new feature we have developed for JazzCash Payment Gateway. Since e-commerce is growing at an exponential rate, this is a dire need. Buyers expect every shopping site to have online payment facilities. With the Hosted Checkout feature, we are looking to bring ease in the daily operations for our Payment Gateway users. This allows them to concentrate on other matters of the business, while JazzCash takes care of the online payment front”
