Investor Weekend 2024: A Gateway to Financial Literacy

CDC in collaboration with leading asset management companies and brokerage houses, has organized a three-day “Investor Weekend 2024” event at Dolmen Mall Clifton, Karachi. This event, held from October 11 to 13, aims to promote investor education and protection in Pakistan.

The event was inaugurated by Abdul Rehman Warraich and Mujtaba Ahmad Lodhi, Commissioners of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), along with Farrukh H. Sabzwari, Chairman CDC, and Badiuddin Akber, CEO CDC.

Throughout the weekend, leading financial institutions showcased their expertise and offered valuable insights to the public on various investment avenues. The participating organizations included ABL Funds, AKD Securities, Al-Habib Funds, Al-Meezan Investment Management Limited, Atlas Asset Management, Faysal Funds, HBL Asset Management Limited, MCB Funds, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX), Trust Securities and Brokerage Limited, UBL Funds, and WE Financials.

The event provided a platform for attendees to learn about investment strategies, risk management, and the benefits of participating in the financial market. By promoting financial literacy, Investor Weekend 2024 aims to foster a culture of informed investment decisions among the Pakistani public.
