Innovista Startups League has brought its ongoing nationwide competition to Karachi with the latest regional round hosted at InnoVista Indus. The event attracted an energetic mix of early-stage entrepreneurs, tech innovators and business leaders, creating a platform for young ventures to present their business models and ideas. The Karachi round continues Innovista’s mission of identifying and supporting high-potential startups across Pakistan, giving them access to seasoned industry professionals and constructive evaluation of their plans. This format also allows participants to gain visibility and feedback from mentors who have extensive experience in scaling ventures and guiding business development.

The highlight of the regional round was the panel of judges composed of three well-known names in Pakistan’s entrepreneurial and digital landscape. Kapeel Kumar, Regional Head Digital Underwriting and Founder of The Founders Space, brought his expertise in digital finance and innovation to the table. His extensive background in digital underwriting and startup mentoring allowed participants to benefit from informed feedback on how to strengthen their ideas for investment readiness and market impact. Alongside him, Ibrahim Amin, Co-Founder and Chairman of Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA), added a vital perspective from Pakistan’s booming freelance economy. His focus on skills development and advocating for digital opportunities has made him a prominent voice for freelancers and entrepreneurs alike. Completing the panel was Syed Azfar Hussain, Project Director, Startup Coach and Business Growth Consultant, who has worked closely with numerous startups on refining their strategies, scaling operations, and achieving sustainable growth in competitive markets.

During the Karachi round, participating startups had the opportunity to pitch their products and services to this distinguished panel. The format encouraged not only evaluation but also mentorship, as the judges shared guidance on improving operational models, aligning with market demand, and preparing for future funding rounds. This direct interaction with accomplished professionals gave participants actionable insights on how to position their businesses for both local and international opportunities. The event also helped bring together investors, mentors and entrepreneurs under one roof, strengthening connections in the country’s innovation ecosystem.

Innovista Startups League has positioned itself as an important platform for nurturing entrepreneurial talent in Pakistan. By taking the competition to regional hubs such as Karachi, it is ensuring that promising ventures from different parts of the country receive equal exposure and support. The Karachi round at InnoVista Indus highlighted the importance of collaboration between startup founders and industry veterans, demonstrating how structured competitions and mentorship programs can accelerate the development of a vibrant and sustainable startup ecosystem. Winners from this round will move ahead in the competition to access more opportunities, including broader visibility, expert guidance and potential investor engagement.
