In Pakistan, the long-awaited Instagram music function is now accessible, allowing users to add various melodies and soundtracks to their stories and posts.
The notification ‘Instagram Music is not available in your region’ was previously displayed to users in Pakistan. The lack of availability was owing to the region’s lack of a music licence.

In 2018, the photo-sharing site made the music option available to users all around the world. Instagram introduced the new feature in an official blog post, saying, “Now you can add a soundtrack to your story that matches any situation and helps you convey how you’re feeling.” Every day, 400 million people use Instagram Stories, and we’re delighted to provide our community more opportunities to connect with their friends and followers.

To utilise Instagram Music, simply touch to add a sticker to a photo or video in Stories, and a music symbol will appear among the possibilities.

Instagram also added:

Tap it to access a music library with hundreds of tracks – you can search for a specific song, browse by mood, genre, or what’s hot, and listen to a preview by tapping the play button. You may fast-forward and rewind through the track once you’ve chosen your music to find the exact section that matches your tale.

You may also pick music before recording a video, according to the site. Swipe to the new ‘Music’ option under the record button when the camera opens. Find a song, cut off the section you want, then make a video while the music plays in the background.
