PC World: Hybrid Travelling in Pakistan: A Rocking Rickshaw from China

Pakistani Company Green Wheels Pvt. Ltd. has introduced a new ‘hybrid rickshaw’ in an auto parts show held at Karachi’s Expo Centre last week. Initially, it was a Chinese built hybrid rickshaw but is now being assembled by Green Wheels. The high tech rickshaw will be available i9n air condition and non-air conditioned models, it will have Wi-Fi and will consume I liter of fuel for up to 50km on average.

Also, if it is driven below 25km/h it will stop consuming fuel as it automatically switches to hybrid mode. Company officials state the non-air conditioned version will be available for up to RS. 400 000, and already they have received a bulk of orders for the vehicle.
