Users can now pay their traffic E-Challans using Bank Alfalah Internet Banking which was introduced by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority
Internet banking is a real-time service that allows users to access their accounts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the convenience of their own home or office without visiting the branch or ATM. As a service being adopted around the world, it increases speed and efficiency and facilitates online bill payment. As a service launched by all major banks in Pakistan, it has recently been announced that users in Pakistan can now pay for their traffic E-Challans through Internet Banking.
Traffic Challans is a prevalent issue in the country. As individuals choose to not carry a large sum of cash in hand with them, the current challan system provides problems for people in the country as they have to hurriedly gather money from the ATM or otherwise. Hence, this news and subsequent service aims to rectify this hassle. It was reported that the Islamabad Traffic Police was introducing the option to pay traffic violation tickets online and now this option is also available in Punjab. People in Pakistan can now pay E-challans through Bank Alfalah’s internet banking.
This option has been introduced by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA). It was reported by the PSCA that users can use this option and pay their fines at the go through this service. This can be done by following the steps given by the PSCA:
- Log on to Bank Alfalah Internet Banking
- Click on the ‘Services’ tab and go to the ‘Payments’ section
- In this section, go to ‘Others’ and click GOPB
- By entering your details here, e-challan payment can be made conveniently
It is important to note that this option and service is currently only available in Punjab. However, they plan to see how this service works out and then can be worked upon in other districts. This option will help the general public by not standing in line at the bank or run from various posts to get their license back.
