Pakistan’s gaming and technology ecosystem has taken a significant step forward with the launch of the HP Gaming Garage Lab at the National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP). The initiative, introduced in collaboration with Muller & Phipps Pakistan (Private) Limited (M&P), aims to empower students with essential skills in Esports Management and Game Development, fostering new opportunities in Media, ICT, and the gaming industry.

The launch event was honored by the presence of Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Asim Rana SI (M), Air Officer Commanding Central Air Command, as the chief guest. His support highlights the Pakistan Air Force’s commitment to fostering technological innovation through NASTP, a pioneering platform that bridges industry, academia, and government to build a thriving technology-driven ecosystem. The initiative was also made possible through the leadership of Kamran Nishat, CEO & Managing Director of M&P, and Syed Nasir Hussain, Business Unit Head of M&P, who played a crucial role in making this vision a reality.

The HP Gaming Garage Lab is designed to serve as a hub for innovation, skill development, and career advancement in gaming and technology. Equipped with HP All-in-One PCs and Victus Gaming Laptops, the lab will provide students with access to the HP Gaming Garage’s global education platform, offering cutting-edge resources and training to enhance their technical expertise. By integrating world-class technology with a focus on gaming, the initiative aligns with global trends where Esports and game development are emerging as major economic drivers.

The gaming industry has evolved beyond entertainment, becoming a significant contributor to digital transformation, economic growth, and technological advancement. Countries around the world are investing heavily in gaming-related education and infrastructure, recognizing its potential to generate jobs, innovation, and digital exports. With this initiative, Pakistan is positioning itself as a regional leader in the gaming and esports industry, providing young professionals with the skills and tools needed to compete on an international level.

NASTP’s role in the initiative is critical, as it continues to foster collaboration between the public and private sectors to accelerate Pakistan’s progress in technology and innovation. The HP Gaming Garage Lab is a prime example of how global technology leaders, local businesses, and government institutions can work together to drive meaningful change in education, skill development, and digital careers.

The partnership between HP, M&P, and NASTP underscores a shared commitment to supporting Pakistan’s youth by equipping them with future-ready skills. By integrating cutting-edge gaming technology with structured training programs, the lab is expected to open doors for the next generation of game developers, esports professionals, and digital creators.

As Pakistan’s gaming and tech ecosystem continues to grow, initiatives like the HP Gaming Garage Lab will play a vital role in shaping the future of digital innovation and entrepreneurship in the country. With strong industry backing and the involvement of key stakeholders, this launch marks an important milestone in the journey towards establishing Pakistan as a competitive force in the global gaming and esports landscape.
