HEC Pakistan has announced the opening of applications for the PERIDOT Research Program, a collaborative initiative between Pakistan and France aimed at fostering joint research activities.

Under the Franco-Pakistani Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) Program, administered by HEC in Pakistan and jointly managed by France’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Development (MAEDI) and Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESRI), PERIDOT promotes scientific and technological cooperation between universities and research labs in both countries.

Launched in 2014 and spanning ten phases until 2023, PERIDOT facilitates researcher mobility and supports projects in Sustainable Energy, Environment, Climate Change, Agriculture, Food Security, Health, and Humanities/Social Sciences. The program emphasizes addressing social challenges linked to environmental issues.

Applications are invited from faculty members of all public and private universities in Pakistan. The selection process is merit-based and transparent, with a deadline for submissions set for October 1, 2024.

In Pakistan, applicants should apply via HEC’s online portal and upload the joint application developed with their French counterparts, who apply through the Campus France website.

For more details, visit the HEC website and Campus France for application guidelines in French.
