HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup in Multan Highlights Regional Tech Growth and Collaboration

The HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup series continued its journey in Multan on December 12, 2025, convening industry leaders, innovators, and technology professionals for an evening focused on collaboration, regional engagement, and insights into Pakistan’s evolving tech landscape. The event, powered by Title Sponsor HBL and supported by Gold Sponsors InfoTech Group, BixiSoft, and Global E-commerce Consultants, provided a platform to highlight opportunities for growth and foster meaningful connections within the South Punjab tech community.

The evening began with a welcome keynote by Abdul Wahab, P@SHA CEC Member and Industry Engagement Chair, who emphasized the growing importance of regional engagement and the association’s commitment to empowering technology communities across South Punjab. He underscored P@SHA’s ongoing efforts to support innovation hubs outside major cities, highlighting how localized initiatives can drive sustainable development in the tech sector. Following this, Sajjad Syed, Chairman of P@SHA, addressed the audience on the increasing role of Pakistan’s tech industry and the emerging opportunities specifically available in Multan, emphasizing the city’s potential as a growing technology hub.

Representatives of the Gold Sponsors delivered sessions that explored diverse aspects of digital transformation and business growth. Muhammad Haris Naseer, COO of InfoTech Group and P@SHA CEC Member, shared insights into the evolving digital landscape and the significance of technology-driven strategies for regional companies. Nasir Mehmood, General Manager Retail at HBL, detailed how HBL continues to support businesses through innovative financial solutions tailored for tech companies. From BixiSoft, Batool Shamim highlighted the role of emerging tech talent in Multan in accelerating digital solutions, while Sohail Tariq, CEO of Global E-commerce Consultants, presented key strategies for businesses seeking to scale their operations in the growing global e-commerce market.

Ali Hasani, Secretary General of P@SHA, presented a comprehensive overview of initiatives designed to enable and support tech businesses in Multan, outlining upcoming programs aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, digital skills development, and regional collaboration. Muhammad Maroof, Team Lead for International Banking at HBL, followed with insights on international banking solutions crafted for expanding technology companies. The event concluded with closing remarks by Raheel Iqbal, Vice Chairman of P@SHA, who reiterated the importance of regional collaboration and highlighted P@SHA’s ongoing commitment to engaging tech communities across Pakistan.

In addition to keynote addresses, the meetup featured an open-mic session with P@SHA CEC Members, allowing founders and professionals to share challenges, provide feedback, and suggest areas for future collaboration. The interactive discussions reinforced the event’s focus on fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for technology leaders and entrepreneurs. Networking sessions enabled participants to connect with peers, explore partnership opportunities, and exchange ideas, further strengthening the local tech ecosystem.

The HBL P@SHA CXO Meetup in Multan highlighted the potential of regional technology communities and the importance of supporting innovation across Pakistan. The participation of the P@SHA Secretariat team, including Shafeh Mehmood and Khawar Mahmood, ensured smooth coordination and engagement.
