Google has announced that its latest AI-powered video generation tools, Veo 3 and Flow, are now available to users in Pakistan as part of a broader global rollout. The tools are accessible to Google AI Pro subscribers in over 150 countries. This expansion includes a new photo-to-video feature that enables users to transform still images into dynamic eight-second video clips, complete with sound. The announcement was made through an official press release on Friday.

Veo 3, launched earlier this year, is the foundation of this new capability. It allows users to animate their images by simply uploading a photo and describing the scene and any associated audio. Once submitted, the tool creates a short video based on the inputs. The integration of this tool into Google AI Pro provides content creators with an intuitive way to produce engaging video content without requiring advanced editing skills or software. Over 40 million Veo 3 videos have been created globally within the first seven weeks of the model’s release, reflecting widespread interest and experimentation among users. Examples include reimagined fairy tales and ASMR experiences.

Pakistan’s community of digital creators, including vloggers, marketers, and visual storytellers, can now benefit from these tools to enhance their creative workflows. By offering local access, Google aims to empower users across diverse content genres with innovative technology that brings images to life. Veo 3’s “Frames to Video” function, also available through the faster Veo 3 Fast option, further improves creative efficiency by maximizing user credits during the generation process.

Flow, Google’s AI-powered filmmaking tool, is also now available in Pakistan and supports advanced editing capabilities, including adding voiceovers, sound effects, and background music to video clips. While audio generation is still experimental, it allows users to customize the audiovisual experience in new ways. Flow and Google AI Ultra are now accessible in over 140 countries, offering advanced AI tools to a broader international audience.

As part of its ongoing commitment to responsible AI development, Google has included visible and invisible watermarks on all content created with Gemini, its generative AI model. Each video includes a visible label and a SynthID digital marker to confirm that it was created using AI. In addition, the company uses red teaming exercises to proactively test and improve its systems, identify weaknesses, and refine safety protocols. Google continues to enforce policies against harmful or unsafe content, while also encouraging user feedback to refine the platform. Users can provide input through thumbs up or down buttons on generated videos to help improve accuracy and trust in the tools over time.

With the rollout of Veo 3 and Flow in Pakistan, users can expect increased creative possibilities across video storytelling, marketing, and social media content, powered by advanced AI technology.
