Google is broadening access to its AI-powered video creation platform Flow, making the tool available to users on Business, Enterprise, and Education Workspace plans. Previously, Flow was limited to Google AI Pro and AI Ultra subscribers since its debut in May, but the expansion reflects the company’s strategy to integrate generative video capabilities into everyday productivity software. By enabling more users to access Flow, Google is positioning its AI tools as practical solutions for marketing, training, content production, and other professional applications.

Flow operates on Google’s Veo 3.1 video generation model, which can create eight-second video clips using simple text prompts or images. Users can then combine these short clips to produce longer sequences, while additional features allow for fine-tuning of the output. Creators can adjust lighting, camera angles, and scene objects, providing more control over the final content. This month, Google also added vertical video support, improving Flow’s utility for mobile-first platforms where vertical formats are standard.

Audio capabilities within Flow have also been enhanced, with the tool now generating sound for scenes based on reference images, requested transitions, or extensions of existing clips. This feature helps creators develop more immersive content without requiring separate audio production tools. Google has also integrated its AI image tool Nano Banana Pro directly into Flow, enabling users to design characters or visual starting points before turning them into fully generated videos. This integration streamlines the creative process and strengthens the connection between image design and video output.

With broader availability and ongoing feature updates, Flow is emerging as a comprehensive option for teams and individuals seeking fast, AI-driven video production within Google Workspace. The tool allows organizations to produce professional-quality videos without relying on traditional production workflows or third-party applications. By combining video generation, image design, and audio synthesis, Flow is increasingly useful for marketing campaigns, instructional content, and other business communications.

Google’s expansion of Flow also reflects wider industry trends in embedding AI tools directly into productivity and collaboration software. As companies adopt AI for everyday tasks, platforms like Flow demonstrate how generative technology can become part of routine workflows rather than standalone applications. With support for multiple Workspace plans, the company is ensuring that a larger segment of professional users can experiment with and benefit from AI video production, reinforcing Google’s position in the generative AI ecosystem.

The broader rollout and feature enhancements indicate Google’s commitment to making AI content creation accessible and practical. Flow now provides a single platform where users can generate, customize, and integrate video content, while benefiting from Workspace’s collaborative and cloud-based infrastructure. Businesses, educational institutions, and enterprise teams are likely to find the tool particularly valuable for creating consistent, high-quality content quickly, all within Google’s ecosystem.
