In our day to day lives, the usage of mobile phones has become as frequent and common as breathing or eating perhaps. So therefore, when the cell phone which has become an extension of our hand breaks or something goes wrong with its system, our lives become hard to function.
Taking your phone to the repair shop is no easy job given our hectic lifestyle and it is certainly not easy to find a shop that will cater to all your mobile phone woes. In an attempt to resolve this issue, startups emerging in Pakistan have taken it upon themselves to make your life easier.
Recently, a startup with the name of iBroked has been launched in Lahore, with a special focus on Apple products such as iPhones, iPads etc. They provide their service at one’s doorstep may it be a home, hotel, offices etc.
Currently they only focus on Apple products and work within Lahore only, but they plan on expanding in the future.
Another such startup is Repair Desk, currently incubated at PlanX in Lahore. Repair Desk had launched their software back in 2015, with so far fifteen hundred signups. According to Founder and CEO Usman Butt, their journey started out at LUMS.
Repair Desk is also to launch their mobile app soon.
