Meezan bank- instigating mobile banking with smartphone apps 

Meezan is about to launch mobile banking services Meezan bank has endorsed an agreement with ‘Invo8 limited’ which is entirely based on providing mobile banking service to its reliable customers. Hence the Meezan group decided upon acquiring most of their expertise. Apple- introducing iPads with fingerprint scanner

The news has also been confirmed by Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. It has been reported that if the chase of Apple comes to an end then it would be the most expensive deal struck in the industry. 

Provision of 3G & 4G license may be detained

 Cellular companies yet to pay advance tax for acquiring 3G&4G license Islamabad: A requirement for the accruing of 3G & 4G is still pending by Mobilink, Telenor, Zong and Ufone, as it had to pay 10% of the tax to acquire the license, which has not yet been taken into consideration by the above mentioned telecom companies. Due to which it has been vocalized that the issuance of the 3G & 4G license will be detained. Mobilink has to pay $29.5 million, Zong $58.6 million while Telenor and Ufone each have to pay $14.75 million as per the advance tax.
