Biometric SIM Activation Implemented after 31st March 

PTA has announced in print media that mobile SIMs in Sindh and Baluchistan will only be activated using Biometric SIM Verification System after March 31, 2014 instead of dialing 789. PTA has further advised mobile customers to only buy SIMS from customer service centers that have Biometric SIM Verification system enabled.  

 

Samsung’s Smart Bulb 

Samsung has just released a smart LED bulb called Smart bulb. It has a Bluetooth-only feature and it can dim down to 10% power with a color range between warm and cool white. It has attractive looks and more innovation in this series is likely to be seen in the near future. 

 

Microsoft Office for iPad

Microsoft is launching Office suite applications for iPad. These applications will have a ‘freemium’ model and everyone will be able to download for free. However, users will have to subscribe to Microsoft Office 365 for editing documents on iPad Office applications.
