Most Muslims look forward to and treasure the holy month of Ramzan. Careem is introducing new services and features aimed at making daily life easier, as well as exploring and showcasing the stories of Pakistanis making a difference, in order to help people observe the second Ramzan safely during these unprecedented Covid times.

The Ramzan Ride is being reintroduced.

Careem is reintroducing the “Ramzan” ride style, which allows customers to donate PKR 20 in addition to the fare for each ride taken, furthering the spirit of kindness and doing good.

Ordering Before Iftar

Careem is adding the option to pre-order iftar meals from a wide range of cuisines to fit everyone’s taste, to help families have warm and delicious food on the table right at iftar. In addition, the app will show a variety of discounts on current offers, utilities, and iftar meal savings.

Featured Pray

Careem is bringing back its iconic prayer feature, which displays modified prayer times based on a customer’s position right on the app’s main screen. Customers may also set reminders for prayer times to be informed.

Your Reward Points can be donated.

Careem is leading a change in how people think about giving by using technology to allow a seamless donation process while preserving social distancing standards and ensuring contactless involvement.

The donation function will remove logistical barriers and enable people to donate from the comfort of their own homes using their smartphones. The Citizen Foundation (TCF), World Wild Fund for Nature (WWF), Indus Hospital, Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), and United Nations World Food Programme are among the organizations that can benefit from donations made through the Super App’s Rewards site (WFP).

Customers will be able to donate their reward points to these partners at any time.

Captains get Eidi

Careem will be rewarding its Captains with a “Eidi bonus” in the spirit of the holy month. During Ramadan, Careem also encourages customers to tip their Captains generously on all journeys, food, and delivery orders.

“Not only is Ramzan a month celebrated by communities all over the world, but it’s also an exceptional month for Careem because it was the month in which we were created, making it extra unique for the Careem family,” Mudassir Sheikha, CEO and Co-Founder of Careem, said in a statement announcing the campaign launch. We’re motivated to do even more to fulfill our mission of simplifying and enhancing people’s lives as we reflect on how lucky we’ve been.”

Careem is available on the App Store, Google Play, and as a direct Android download.
