Athan featured at one of the fastest growing applications in the Asia Pacific region at the Google App Summit’18, held in Singapore
The Athan app is a prayer times, quran and qibla finder made in Pakistan by VentureDrive and developed by IslamicFinder.org; the most authentic source of Islamic information available online.
Ever since its inception in 2014, Athan has become the most reliable Islamic application for Muslims all over the world and has been helping Muslims in every corner of the globe follow accurate prayer times as per their location and jurisdiction, helped them find the direction of the Qibla from anywhere, and provided heaps of vital information on Islamic principles.
The aim of the Athan app has been to help Muslims navigate in their daily lives with convenience, whether or not they are based in a Muslim-majority country. The app is available in 6 major languages and keeps users posted with accurate prayer times of more than 6 million locations worldwide.
Recently the app got featured at one of the fastest growing applications in the Asia Pacific region at the Google App Summit’18, held in Singapore. It was the only app made in Pakistan to feature at the invite only event.
Representing the app and the country at the summit were VentureDive’s Managing Director Saad Fazil and Senior Product Manager Ali Raza. The app also mentioned to get a feature on GEO’s news bulletin for its success at the Google App Summit in Singapore.
