Applications are now open for the SheConnects Global Fellowship, a unique 3-month program designed to empower young women leaders across South Asia through education, innovation, and climate action. The fellowship aims to equip participants with the skills and mindset required to drive sustainable entrepreneurship while addressing the growing challenges of climate change. Open to women aged 18 to 30 from Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, the fellowship will take place from November 2025 to January 2026, offering participants an immersive learning experience that combines mentorship, collaboration, and global exposure.
The SheConnects Global Fellowship focuses on building leadership among women who aspire to make a difference in environmental sustainability and social innovation. Participants will engage in a series of interactive workshops, capacity-building sessions, and practical projects designed to foster climate-conscious entrepreneurship. The curriculum integrates principles of environmental justice with sustainable business practices, encouraging fellows to design impactful solutions that address both community and global challenges. By linking young innovators with climate experts, business mentors, and fellow entrepreneurs across the region, SheConnects aims to build a powerful network of changemakers capable of leading South Asia’s green transition.
One of the most significant incentives of the fellowship is the fully funded scholarship awarded to the top Pakistani fellow. This recipient will have the opportunity to represent Pakistan at the upcoming Asian Climate & Environment Summit 2026 in Thailand. The summit will bring together international environmental leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss sustainable solutions for the region’s climate and ecological challenges. This opportunity not only provides global exposure but also strengthens Pakistan’s representation in regional dialogues on climate action and sustainable development.
The initiative underscores the growing importance of empowering women in climate leadership and entrepreneurship. In many parts of South Asia, women remain underrepresented in technology and sustainability sectors, despite being at the forefront of community-level environmental action. By offering access to resources, mentorship, and international collaboration, SheConnects seeks to close this gap and provide young women with a platform to translate their ideas into measurable impact. The fellowship’s emphasis on sustainability and digital innovation aligns with broader global efforts to promote inclusive climate solutions and circular economies.
Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply by October 25, 2025, through the official registration link available here. The fellowship offers participants a chance to contribute meaningfully to climate advocacy and sustainable enterprise while developing leadership capabilities that can drive long-term social and environmental change across South Asia.
