This year’s event focuses on fostering innovation in key areas like digital authentication, integrated banking platforms, AI-powered customer experiences, and leveraging Pakistan’s Raast payment system.

Building on the success of previous hackathons, the event aims to connect innovators and entrepreneurs with the goal of driving digital transformation within the banking sector. Participants will have the opportunity to develop and showcase solutions addressing the evolving needs of customers in the digital age.

“The Fintech Hackathon has been a valuable platform for nurturing talent and fostering innovation in the Fintech space,” said Mohsin Mithani, Chief Digital Officer at Allied Bank Limited. “We look forward to seeing the groundbreaking ideas that emerge this year.”

Zouhair Abdul Khaliq, Founder and CEO of Teamup Ventures, echoed the sentiment, highlighting the hackathon’s role as a “flagship event” for collaboration and entrepreneurship in Pakistan’s Fintech scene.

The application window for the 3rd Allied Bank Fintech Hackathon is open until April 28th, 2024. Problem solvers and innovators nationwide are encouraged to apply for a chance to compete for cash prizes totaling PKR 3 million, mentorship opportunities, and potential collaboration with Allied Bank Limited.
