aik, Pakistan’s first Islamic digital banking solution by BankIslami, is celebrating the country’s 79th Independence Day — marking 78 years since independence — with a special cashback initiative designed to reward customers while encouraging the use of secure and Riba-free financial services. The “Azadi Cashback” campaign offers 14% cashback on all debit card and QR code transactions made through the aik mobile application. The promotional offer is active from August 13 to August 22, 2025, and allows users to earn a maximum cashback of PKR 3,000 during the campaign period. Eligible cashback amounts will be credited directly to customers’ aik accounts as a discretionary gift to mark this historic national occasion.

The campaign is part of aik’s broader strategy to promote ethical and Shariah-compliant digital banking, positioning itself as a frontrunner in Pakistan’s growing fintech landscape. By incentivizing customers to make payments through its mobile platform, aik aims to drive adoption of digital transactions, reduce reliance on cash, and create a smoother transition toward a cashless economy. In addition to its compliance with Islamic finance principles, aik places strong emphasis on security, user empowerment, and transparent banking practices.

Since its launch, aik has been actively working to redefine how customers interact with their banks by providing a fully digital experience without compromising on Shariah compliance. This initiative aligns with aik’s vision of combining technological innovation with financial ethics, offering users both convenience and peace of mind in every transaction. The cashback campaign reflects the platform’s commitment to integrating modern financial technology with values-driven service, giving customers a tangible reason to embrace digital channels during one of the most patriotic weeks of the year.

As Pakistan continues to make strides in fintech adoption, initiatives like the Azadi Cashback campaign are helping shift consumer behavior toward digital solutions. With mobile banking usage on the rise and QR code payment infrastructure expanding, aik is leveraging its position to attract both new users and existing customers who may still be adjusting to cashless payments. The timing of the campaign, coinciding with Independence Day celebrations, underscores the symbolic connection between technological progress and national pride.

Through continuous product innovation and customer-centric campaigns, aik remains committed to shaping the future of Islamic digital banking in Pakistan. Its latest Independence Day offer not only rewards customers financially but also reinforces the importance of secure, compliant, and accessible banking in a rapidly digitizing economy. By blending technology with trust, aik is working to ensure that modern banking in Pakistan remains inclusive, transparent, and aligned with the values of its users.
