PSL is an event that has generated immense buzz for  the country, not only in terms of attracting the ire and audience of people on a daily basis but also generating great revenue and advertisement oppurtunities for their sponsors as well as individuals linked to the league. As a way to add more facilities to the user, it has recently been reported that cricket fans from around the country can compete against each other in a PSL Fantasy League using the Easypaisa App.

This service is particularly attractive to cricket fans who can create their own virtual teams and earn points throughout the season. Moreover, certain teams that go on to win in the PSL Fantasy League will also have the opportunity to win exclusive prizes at the end of the tournament.

This facility has been launched by Easypaisa, who in partnership with Cricingif- the official copyright holders for the PSL Fantasy League, have opened this facility for users to enjoy the game. The PSL Fantasy League has been a program that was launched years and has since grown in popularity. Last year, the platform saw over 3 million unique users with more than 80 million page views.

This facility allows Easypaisa users to act as team owners, assemble virtual teams of real PSL players and score points based on their cricketers’ performance and statistics during the selected match of PSL 5. These users have a chance to win a grand prize up to 1 million PKR with daily prizes of PKR 30,000 during the stretch of the competition.

The only drawback is that these users will be charged with a standard fee by their respective network operators. Users can login to the Easypaisa App and tap on the Fantasy League option which redirects them to the game and they can pick the tournament or match mode according to their preference. The other steps are as follows: selecting the match choice, then add players to the team, pick the captain and vice-captain, and start following the leaderboard.

Head of Easypaisa, Telenor Microfinance Bank Khurram Malik stated:

“Easypaisa has always been at the forefront of bringing a complete digital lifestyle transformation for its users. This partnership with Cricingif to let users play PSL Fantasy League on the Easypaisa App allows them to be part of the most exciting tournament in the country with greater fervor and enthusiasm”.
