Indus AI Week 2026 brought the power of artificial intelligence to communities across Pakistan, from Peshawar to Quetta and Gilgit-Baltistan, highlighting the transformative potential of AI for careers, industries, and regional development. At Upscale Digital in Peshawar, students and professionals gathered for a focused session on the Importance of AI, engaging in discussions about how the technology is reshaping opportunities across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The session emphasized that AI is not merely a passing trend but a wave being actively learned, applied, and led from every corner of the country.

In Quetta, Saylani Welfare Trust hosted a multi-segment event under Indus AI Week, featuring a hackathon, interactive discussions, and dedicated sessions supporting women in technology. Participants collaborated on coding challenges, debated real-world applications, and showcased solutions, demonstrating that innovation in Pakistan is increasingly hands-on, practical, and inclusive. The sessions highlighted the growing role of women in tech, providing mentorship, skill-building, and inspiration to future leaders in AI.

Gilgit-Baltistan also joined the nationwide AI conversation with “Exploring the Power of Artificial Intelligence for Regional Growth & Innovation” at Binary Hub, Gilgit, on February 11, 2026. Students, innovators, and community leaders came together to discuss AI’s potential in regional development, reinforcing that the AI revolution is not limited to major urban centers. From classrooms to tech hubs, participants explored how artificial intelligence can drive innovation, economic growth, and technological advancement in every region of Pakistan.

Across all locations, Indus AI Week demonstrated Pakistan’s commitment to nurturing talent and expanding access to AI knowledge. Organized by the Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and supported by local partners, the initiative underscored the country’s ambition to empower youth, entrepreneurs, and women to lead the AI-driven future. By engaging communities in hands-on learning and regional collaboration, Indus AI Week highlighted that innovation is being built from the ground up, one idea at a time.
