Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA) has rolled out a WhatsApp-based communication initiative designed to improve its engagement with taxpayers throughout the province. Through this platform, KPRA will provide registered taxpayers with timely updates, notifications, and announcements using its official WhatsApp number 0323-5631088. This initiative reflects the Authority’s focus on leveraging widely used digital platforms to streamline communication and enhance public service delivery.

Taxpayers are encouraged to save KPRA’s official number and share their own WhatsApp contact details to receive uninterrupted updates. Through this system, individuals and businesses will get instant access to compliance reminders, policy changes, service announcements, and other critical information. KPRA emphasizes that using WhatsApp, the most popular messaging service in Pakistan, allows it to reach a broader audience efficiently, reducing delays and bridging communication gaps that often affect traditional channels.

The Authority has shared bilingual messages in both English and Urdu to ensure accessibility and understanding among a diverse range of taxpayers. The updates are also featured under KPRA’s “Latest Posts” section alongside other official communications, including anti-corruption initiatives, revenue collection achievements, and public awareness campaigns. By integrating WhatsApp into its communication strategy, KPRA aims to make interactions with taxpayers more user-friendly, responsive, and transparent, providing a convenient alternative to conventional methods of correspondence.

Officials at KPRA have noted that the platform will help in delivering information directly to taxpayers without the delays commonly associated with paper notices or email-based updates. The service is expected to improve engagement, reduce confusion about compliance deadlines, and enhance overall transparency in tax administration. As part of the modernization drive, this WhatsApp initiative complements other ongoing digital projects by KPRA, demonstrating a continued commitment to making revenue services more accessible and technology-driven for citizens and businesses alike.
