LearnOBots, in collaboration with Rawat Technology Park, has officially unveiled Future Labs, a facility that is poised to redefine the landscape of STEAM education. This first-of-its-kind initiative is not just a national milestone for Pakistan, but it sets a new global benchmark for immersive, hands-on learning experiences for young people. Future Labs is designed to engage students with the very technologies that are shaping the future, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, and 3D prototyping.
Nestled within the forward-thinking ecosystem of Rawat Technology Park, Future Labs aims to provide an environment where students can directly interact with the cutting-edge technologies that are transforming industries worldwide. The facility is made up of over twelve fully immersive learning environments, each designed to foster creativity, curiosity, and the confidence necessary to tackle complex challenges. Students will have the opportunity to engage with AI-powered robotics, design drones, explore mixed-reality environments, and much more, all in a hands-on, project-based learning setting.
The vision behind Future Labs is clear: to create a space that goes beyond traditional classroom settings by offering a dynamic learning experience where students can immerse themselves in technology and innovation. Faisal Laghari, CEO of LearnOBots, described the initiative as “a transformational experience.” He emphasized that Future Labs provides a future-ready educational model, driven by the belief that young minds, when given the right tools, can solve the problems of today and shape the solutions of tomorrow.
The design of the lab itself is equally futuristic. With ultra-modern architecture, intelligent lighting systems, modular learning pods, and tech-enabled zones, Future Labs looks more like a digital rendering than a physical space. The facility is designed to inspire students to imagine the impossible, explore boldly, and build with purpose. As one parent noted after visiting the facility, “When I first saw the video, I genuinely thought it was a concept design. It looked like a sci-fi spaceship—not something you’d expect to walk into in real life.”
The core experiences offered at Future Labs include Mars Base Camp, where students can simulate planetary missions using programmable robotic rovers; VR Voyage & Astro Theater, which provides immersive storytelling through mixed-reality environments; RoboAI Lab & Robo Soccer Arena, where students can build, code, and compete with intelligent robotics systems; and BattleBots Arena & Drone Zone, where engineering challenges and aerial tech come to life. There’s also a Podcast & Studio Lab to help students develop media literacy and digital storytelling skills, and a Rapid Prototyping Lab equipped with 3D printers, CNC tools, and smart hardware to turn their ideas into tangible products.
Future Labs is designed to be more than just a place for technical learning. It provides a comprehensive, interactive 3–4 hour experience that simulates real-world innovation cycles—from ideation to prototyping and presentation. These sessions are designed to help students develop not only technical expertise but also soft skills like teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking. This holistic approach ensures that the young learners who participate in these programs are well-equipped to face the challenges of the future workforce.
The facility is open to schools across Pakistan, and LearnOBots has structured its booking system to ensure accessibility and scalability for both urban and underserved learners. To cater to a wide range of students, the lab offers optional transport and meal plans. Laghari emphasized that the goal of Future Labs is not only to provide access to technology but also to create access to opportunity. By offering this innovative educational experience, Future Labs aims to empower students nationwide, providing them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Future Labs marks a significant step forward in Pakistan’s education system, setting a global example of how education systems can adapt to future needs. Schools, academic institutions, and learning networks are now invited to book experiential learning trips to Future Labs via the contact email provided by LearnOBots, ensuring that students from all walks of life can benefit from this transformative opportunity.
