Smartphones have long supported quick responses. Most messaging apps, like WhatsApp, allow you to reply to a message right from the notification, saving you time if you’re working on anything else.

On PCs, these functions are largely unheard of, but WhatsApp Desktop will soon offer them. As usual, the WABetaInfo team was the first to notice the planned functionality.

Quick reply notifications are being added to WhatsApp Desktop’s beta edition, per their most recent report. As said, the function enables you to respond to messages from alerts without opening the application. The image below serves as an example.

The screenshot displays the typical Windows notification popup with a little text box for quick responses. You must open the app to view an image preview because it is not displayed.

You can now download WhatsApp Desktop Beta from the Microsoft Store to use the feature. Although it is only available in the Universal Windows Platform App, it is unknown when it will be added to the stable version of the app.
